I'd like to think that someone with the right resources and tech skill could track and disable these...but that's probably naive. I agree that being discerning in where we get our information is needed but I think about those who don't know how to be discerning. There has to be a way to combat these

Aside from the bots and trolls, I wonder if people are just engaging with social media less. I have no data either way; just wondering out loud.

It's my favorite thing about living in larger, diverse communities. The mix of people I see while walking the dog or going to the store gives me life. I'm very happy to raise my little girl in a place where she'll learn about and from lots of different people.
