Yes you are correct- these are the moth specimens. I guess having been told this is a butterfly collection I would never have thought these are actually moths…..should have checked the Latin name!.

Macro of butterfly wing- this one in a museum collection by Margaret Fountaine(1862-1940). The Fountaine-Neimy collection was left to Norwich Castle Museum when Margaret died.
