Commentators seems to be eternally puzzled why Arsenal can't find a system where Eze – a number 10 – and Odegaard – a number 10 – can't play together. They don't ask why we don't play two left wingers. Or two goalkeepers. But not playing two number 10s seems to be a real head scratcher.

When are we allowed to be an Arsenal fan and reasonably express the opinion that Gyökeres has been disappointing? It has to be now, right? About now? It feels that we're doing well despite his form, not because of it. Which is what we were hoping when we signed him, with his incredible record.
