I have been getting so many emails from Nextdoor about someone's cat got out or someone found a cat outside and I am so stressed on behalf of the cats.

OH. There goes all my excitement for Divinity. :/ Even if there won't be AI in the final product (says the interview), not thrilled about it being used in the preliminary brainstorming work.

Playing Durin's story quest and you know what? I think Venti needs a glow up. Like Durin and newer characters have cute fancy eyes....Venti needs something like that. The only reason he doesn't is cause he has an older character design.

I am battling technology today, specifically that some technology is too old to be compliant for use at work (with literally nothing else wrong with it!!) and that new technology lacks USB-A ports (because to hell with backwards compatibility)

A long time ago, someone on reddit offered to mail cookies to people, so my naive little self agreed to this. I still think of those chocolate chip cookies cause you could tell they were baked with love.

i say thank you to the bus driver when i get on and yell thank you when i get off every day i ride the bus, and i take two buses to and from work, being nice and friendly costs you nothing and should be your default expectation for yourself because it improves your day and everyone else’s day
Being nice to people is just fun. Asked young server at taco place how her day was going (fine but tired) and she asked me back. I said I managed to finish my to-do list and she unexpectedly gave me a high five! Treating people like people is always rewarding.
