A new law could give millions of us better rights at work, but corporate lobbyists & politicians are trying to gut it. Tell the Government: protect workers, not profits!

UK Government: Keep your promise to protect workers
Zero hours contracts, unfair ‘fire and rehire’, waiting months or even years to be able to access benefits – the world of work in our country is weighted against actual workers. It’s billionaire bosse...

The free speech activist who built a list of professors he worked to get fired for their speech must be celebrated for his support of free speech, and anyone who quotes his speech accurately in context will be fired and/or face state punishment by the champions of free speech, do I have that right?

Tentatively, I want to make a moral case for escapism – for allowing oneself a break from world events, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

Reform is a Limited Company

Farage owns 53%

It was formed in 2019 to push for a “no-deal Brexit”

It wants to reintroduce the Liz Truss budget

It wants to privatise the NHS

& invest in fossil fuels

Close the BBC

& break International law

It’s a scam

To my U.K friends, American beef is absolute shite and you know it. We pump it full of chemicals, feed it corn and torture the animals. It’s an awful industry designed for fast food chains. It’s also a huge cause of global warming. Skip it.

This part is so great. Our heroes are beaten down not by monsters or an army, but by weather and weariness.

Sauron may have sent the snow storm, but they were still planning climb over mountains. This journey is breaking them down, and it's only just begun.

Saving this to continue following.
I know Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens were the ones who put Arwen saving Frodo, but I was still disappointed when Glorfindel showed up.

I've read THE SIMARILLION! Glorfindel fights a Balrog and wins! And yet, when he showed up, I was all "Ugh, this guy? Whatever. Wish it was Arwen."

Hey British media,
It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

This is why I don't want a trade deal between the US and UK. They will demand we take these products and hide it from consumers, in return for poisoning us,they try to buy our healthcare and destroy our economy.
Previous to the FDA, folks would put chalk and plaster of Paris in milk to make it appear white. They could also add formaldehyde to cover the smell and taste of spoiled milk.

Thanks to my friend Harriet for pointing out that the women went to Christ's tomb and saw he was not there, the angels showed up to describe what happened, & the women then told the apostles, who dismissed them. A Biblical account of women not being believed.
