the Renaissance painting begging is just stupid racist shit but those people also critically mistake that art as something that was just spontaneously produced for the world on its own merits rather than the results of a very specific society and economy of art creation

not that there weren't painters who were hustling blasting up to one painting a day at their peak but even then to the average person the concept of owning a painting has become so devalued only speculators and rich hoarders could pay enough to make painting something large and complex viable

my serious thought on "why do Renaissance paintings not happen anymore" well in the first place very, very few people can afford the equipment and workspace, and then work on a painting for several months, maybe over a year, to sell to one person who will pay enough money for their rent and costs
"people with renaissance-level art skills don't exist anymore" yes they do their username is something like 03748218_ and they spend all their time drawing pornography so deranged it'd kill hugh hefner a second time

a side note, but: 'no talent likenesses' will be used. So, Chris Pratt and whoever else are protected (for the moment). But the animators and designers who made these characters you are now willingly feeding into the slop machine designed to replace them...they're not considered talent.
