So irritating! lol

Sick to death of those SAP AI ads on LinkedIn showing office staff rolling down a hill or swimming underwater. So weird and annoying.

Oh no - I'm not on Twitter/X this year to see Jeremy Clarkson's inevitable daft tweet about his crap A Level results.

Dolly Parton has sent my daughter a new book every month for years as she does for thousands of children. She help fund the development of the Covid vaccine. She’s not a billionaire. I think as non wealthy people it’s hard to even imagine how much billionaires *could* be doing with their money.

As the US hits a 33-year high in measles infections, there is now a "race" to find a treatment for the disease.

One pharma company "is banking on a continuing decline in vaccination rates to fuel a need for measles treatments—and in turn, more investor interest"

The Race to Find a Measles Treatment as Infections Surge
The measles vaccine was so effective the disease was considered eliminated in the U.S., but a resurgence of outbreaks is spurring a need for drugs.

Just another relatable National Trust sign

I opened X and there was a negative post about Blake Lively’s sexual harassment case at the top of my suggested posts feed. I clicked on the account and it has no profile image, 8 followers, and 24 posts since 2020–including 6 Ray-Ban scam ads. These disinfo campaigns are so blatant, yet they work.

Eeee remember all that stuff in the news at the start of the 00s about how people would get brain tumours from too much mobile phone use and how that just hasn't happened at all?! Conspiracy theories of the time.

I'm too tight to pay for regular botox, so what Korean skincare brands do I need to spend hundreds of pounds on instead?! 😜 Need your reccs!

How come it’s 2025 and nobody has yet invented a decent bottle design for hair conditioner that actually lets you get all of the product out of it?!

Maybe one day I'll do some research on this and around "gamified" approaches in communities. I think I'm the same. Love a game, love the process of playing and having fun but not necessarily bothered about winning or getting something at the end of it.

My favourite answer is: “there isn’t a simple answer!” 🤣 And I’m not taking the mick, I actually mean it.

See, even that is like: ok, fine but...I'd probably throw it in the bin as soon as I got home?! Depends what it's for I guess but, for me, it would be the experience of taking part in The Thing that would stick with me and would be the motivation for doing it in the first place?
