I am at least getting my money's worth out of my apartment by staying home lmao

Totally unrelated, but weird that a couple months ago was when I started having the bar/drunk people aversion part of being dry. Still waiting on that to wear off, because I do enjoy shows/dance nights.

(but no vapes. Them things are basically a nicotine IV and having used them in place of 🚬 for 5+ years, not actually much of a long-term price difference, and quitting that and cigarettes at the same time is what I'd describe what an exorcism feels like)

I would also add tobacco companies, and is an even better reason to try quitting again. Would love to be done after almost 20 years, but...THINGS™️

I am left...about the same level of grump locally. Still heartened by the good things that happened where they needed to around the country. Party on to everyone celebrating those needed wins, and hopefully this energy can stay on an upward spiral (still gotta hold people's feet to the fire, tho).

Even before then, when starting to go to "cool spots" (aka uptown and some NE & Dinkytown) starting around 2013-2014, i thought: "wow it sure is white over here."

I was about to say "oh hey that's my buddy!"

Oh, this was mainly in reference to whatever mess is happening under the CG updates post, and people being (what sounds like) reasonably upset.
