Remember those wallets I was working on? They're finished! There's the ID pocket in front and the zipper pocket for cash and change. On the back is a flap with a snap that covers 2 card slots. It comes with a wrist strap and a lanyard. How cute are they?! I'll be listing them soon on Etsy for $25.

And here's the stack of fabric pieces I cut today! 41 pieces! This is going to be a wallet. The patterned green fabric will be the exterior, the red and pink fabric with the butterflies is contrast, and the evergreen is the lining. I'll try to post progress photos of this project too.

Here's the stack of fabric I cut yesterday. I lost count around 60 pieces! This will be a messenger bag for my favorite musician, Tony Lucca. He's a singer-songwriter who plays both acoustic and electric guitar as well as piano. I'll try to post photos of the bag in progress.

I feel I deserve kudos today. I cut out all the fabric pieces for a messenger bag. 60+ pieces of fabric by my estimate! Way too many for me to count. My feet and back hurt, but I have accomplished a lot today! Tomorrow I'm cutting pieces for a wallet. Not as big a project, but very pretty! 🎉🎉🎉

Charity shop has a stack of new books - half things like "Leave A Cheater, Gain A Life", and various women's self-improvement... the other half witchcraft.

The book shelf bag is done! Well mostly. The grommet strip is attached to the bag and it just needs the drawstring and shoulder strap.

I'm making wallets at the same time I'm finishing Tammy Barker's bags. Busy bee! Here are fabric pieces for the wallets on the steam press, getting interfacing fused to them. Read the alt text for an explanation of what interfacing is and why it's important!

The bookcase bag has been attached to the lining! Doesn't the pink look pretty with all the items on the shelves? Next, the drawstring section at the top and then the handles.

Just a glimpse of the other bag I'm making for Tammy Barker, the mystery author. Both bags have literary themes! I've done rivets and a riveted snap on this bag so far. The lining will be pastel pink, to match the pastel colors of the items on the bookshelves.
