I usually love the perspective of Michael McFaul. But I wholeheartedly disagree with this opinion.
Trump I did not destroy our reputation as a continuing Democracy with intact institutions.
Trump II + gap years failing to hold Trump accountable for his crimes, show the US is a failed Democracy.

I usually love the perspective of Michael McFaul. But I wholeheartedly disagree with this opinion.
Trump I did not destroy our reputation as a continuing Democracy with intact institutions.

A person like this Admiral will not go quietly into a trial. That us not how someone who is used to extreme, brutal power will end his days. He will want to control his fate.

I guffawed so loud when Hayes said this on air, my dog thought there was an intruder that suddenly walked into the house, and she went into Barkapalooza Attack Mode.
It took me a good two minutes to calm her down afterwards.
The fact that I kept laughing at her barking at my laughter didn't help.

Why is Ghislane Maxwell's attorney writing a letter to the Court indicating that she will soon be filing a pro se habeas motion?
This indicates her attorneys will either soon withdraw as counsel, or have refused to file the Motion because of their fear of violating Fed. Rule of Civil Procedure 11.

An increase in arrests would lead to a corresponding surge in cases before the Executive Office of Immigration Review, the Justice agency that houses the courts, and the relatively small increase in judges would likely not be sufficient to keep pace.
