$20 Billion for an Argentina bank bail out to help Trump's rich friends
$173 Million for Kristi Noem's jet
$250 Million for a ballroom only billionaires have access to, not you

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

The first time the Confederate flag ever paraded through the US Capitol was on January 6, 2021.

The first time the White House was damaged in over 200 years since the US rebuilt in the 1820s after the British burned it in the war of 1812 was mid October, 2025.

The average age of U.S. homebuyers is now 56, up from 49 last year.

In 1981, the year trickledown economics began, it was 31.
Here's hoping these become two of the Biggest Beautiful Bankruptcies this country will ever see.
Clark Construction is the company leading the renovations for the new White House ballroom project, with AECOM and McCrery Architects also involved in the construction team.

The White House is asking people not to share pictures of the East Wing because it’s even worse today.
Good. Now disbar his ass.

You can hold whatever views you want and exercise your right to free speech under the First Amendment.

But a license to practice law is not a right. It is a privilege & comes with obligations. With a duty to comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Disbar him. Now.
OK - side note and i don't mean to belittle this moment with a talk of clothing - but this woman is SLAYING IT in her turquoise blazer and beautiful turquoise necklace.

Professional, Southwest-gem-inspired vibe is a nod to those who elected her and POWERFUL! Damn. Love it!
Electric bills have gone up because data servers using AI require tons of electricity. Demand is up w/AI use and supply is down, which means electricity prices are through the roof. Since Trump hates solar energy, they are only approving new traditional energy plants, which take forever to build.
See if your municipality has a utility assistance program. Also see if there is a food bank in your area. That is not a healthy diet and it will wreak havoc on your body long term (I know this personally). There are still plenty of NFPs out there helping with food and utilities.
For those who rent - read your lease & state law re eviction. Depending on your lease & state law, landlord may have to wait 30 days before sending a notice of eviction, or they may only wait 10 days. DO NOT MISS COURT. Ask for time to get an atty (30 days). Use that time to catch up on rent.
Let me give y'all some Free Law Advice if you lost your job, are low on $$:

Pay your car bill first. Repossession starts after 1-2 missed car payments.

But you get a lot of chances to catch up (approx 1 year) after missing a mortgage payment. They send many statutory notices before they foreclose.

I'm tired. We're all tired. This isn't hard to understand. You can't inflate prices of basic necessities like food and housing to ridiculous highs while keeping wages at poverty levels, then act surprised when luxury goods/services and large purchases become unattainable or payments unaffordable.
But...did he ever have you? Cuz that's pretty worrisome by itself.

It’s been a month since @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social was elected by an overwhelming majority. Speaker Johnson still has yet to swear her in, leaving the people of #AZ07 without a voice in Congress. Enough is enough. Swear. Her. In.

I’m disgusted by the photos of Ttump’s demolition at the East Wing, but I’m even more sickened by the renderings of his mar-a-lago ballroom dwarfing our White House. Once we’re rid of this despicable man, that ballroom must also be removed.

Raskin details how he tried to get unanimous consent today to force Johnson to swear in Adelita Grijalva, but the Acting Speaker Haridopolos "scurried out of the room"

Enough is enough. Adelita Grijalva was elected on September 23. The people of Arizona have a right to be represented in Congress.

During today’s pro forma session, when the House is called to order I will seek unanimous consent to insist upon the swearing-in of Adelita Grijalva.
