I'm not sure that showing the candy aisle is what is meant by UPF.
UPF worries are focused on crap masquerading as real food. Nobody is under the delusion that eating a Reesee's helps meet your daily nutritional intake. We eat it as a treat.

I had a 3-legged cocker named Tripod who was thrown out of a car.
Tripod mostly used all 3 legs, but he walked down stairs with a Circus movement, lifting his rear body up & walking on his huge front paws only.
He would also mark territory by Circus-ing his Puppy PeePee over flower beds & trees.

I love that instead of trying to shoot the criminal, the fruitseller pelts him with what I can only assume are pieces of fruit.

It is not a flaw in the system. Every stop right now is a violation of due process.
The INA only applies to non-citizens. It only applies to Aliens in the US, defined in the Act.
The govt cannot require you prove you are not an Alien bc it violates Constitutional due process.
Many still comply.
