The inability of many to accept this — that people may judge you for what you think or say and that this is part of life in a free society rather than a problem to be fixed — is one reason we are now living under fascism.
Sometimes people will judge you for the choices you make or the opinions you have. Sometimes people will think you're uncool. This may happen for reasons fair or unfair. At the end of the day, you have to be your own person. No one is entitled to universal respect for the things they think or do.
