I don't think people realise how much LLMs are dependent on prompting and how fundamentally a sentence can throw them into disarray. You aren't really hardcoding anything either - it's entirely how the model interprets your prompt. A reckless and nightmarish thing to deploy at scale
Annnd @xai just deleted Musk's new prompt which told the Grok LLM to "not shy away from making claims which are politically incorrect, so long as they are well substantiated."
That prompt seemingly caused the LLM to become Nazi 4Chan, and has now been deleted, but other recent changes remain.

This might seem inconsistent with the Trump admin's stated emphasis on fighting antisemitism, but it is in fact completely consistent. Trump's consistent stance is that "Good Jews" alone deserve protection from antisemitism, and he gets to be the arbiter of which Jews fall into that category.
