Rewatching The Addams Family and thinking about how much I love John Astin. He always seemed like a really nice, fun, talented guy. If you’ve never listened to the episode of Gilbert Gottfried’s podcast he was on, it’s worth a listen. He had an amazing career. Still with us at 93 years old.

wandered down to the hotel restaurant to order room service bc the menus online were inaccurate, and saw a bottle of malort behind the bar.

i of course commented on it, and someone who appeared to be the manager looked positively exasperated and said, “i will sell you the bottle for $10!”

so uh…

Finally made the drive from Oklahoma to Washington state. Such a long adventure
