The Democratic Party needs to get younger, feistier, smarter at messaging and more in touch with the electorate, both at the state and federal levels.

Unrelated side note: Mt Sinai recently closed a hospital in Manhattan after a long fight where advocates tried to keep it open so they aren't exactly seen in positive light here to begin with. They basically moved all profitable units to other locations & closed the hospital w/most medicaid patients

Zohran Mamdani is NOT, even remotely, anything approaching communism. He's running on extremely moderate ambitions like free buses, temporary rent freeze on already rent controlled apartments, and 5 grocery stores.

That the Democratic establishment refuses to endorse him even now seems racism.

Even if you don't like all of Mamdani's ideas, there's no way you don't like most of them.

Most of his ideas are just big city common sense, not some radical communism.

Free buses isn't radical communism. NYC was trying it out even before Mamdani entered politics. Kansas City too.

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized.

I refuse to sanitize him.
