How to fund it? I proposed using increased taxes on the gambling giants who make huge profits from online gambling.

Lifting the two child limit would immediately take around 300,000 children out of poverty, and would put more money back into the pockets of struggling families.
It would be a huge boost to people who are struggling & would put money back into our local economy. 3/4

The two child limit was introduced in an act of ideological & political malice by the Conservatives in 2015.
It's simply made larger families poorer- the 'worst social policy ever' as @ruthpatrick0.bsky.social called it.

There is, as Nick says, a very tight legislative timetable & a lot of issues for the Government to address but it really shows the need for a much bigger look at constitutional reform which could address many of these issues.

We see this in particular with how people talk about london.
It is completely removed from the reality that my constituents see every day- despite what SM says crime is down in London, all our schools in Hounslow are rated good or above & we have a world class public transport system.

Lets look at Hounslow Borough.
Hounslow Town Centre has at least 10 bookies & adult gaming centres, while Chiswick at the other end of the borough has, from memory, around 3.
It is very obvious why gambling firms put more shops & centres in areas with higher levels of deprivation.

Due to the word limit I didn't have space to write in further detail about how important it is that we don't repeat the mistakes that the Biden Administration made- they failed to use their leverage over Israel & I don't want the UK Government to make the same mistake.
