We are currently on track for tariffs to (roughly) land at 10% on most countries, and 60% on China -- pretty much what Trump said during the campaign.

If so, the upheaval and paralyzing uncertainty of the past 4 months will have been nothing but pointlessly destructive theater.

I'm here to apologize for my poor forecast.

I predicted that Trump's trade deal would be just "a single piece of paper with a few bullet points on it."

It's actually a page and half, and it has three headings, each with about half a dozen bullet points.

I know how to deliver results.

As Health Director for Wayne County, I made sure that kids had glasses and erased Michiganders' medical debt.

We need that kind of leadership in the U.S. Senate.

A two year old. A f*cking two year old U.S. CITIZEN.

I have a two year old — there is nothing dangerous, nothing scary about a two year old. And there is nothing legal about deporting a U.S. citizen.

This is what Trump’s brown shirts are doing with our tax dollars and in our name. It has to END.

I'm grateful to have Senator Bernie Sanders' support, because he champions these common-sense priorities.

Tariffs are not our only (self-inflicted) economic problem right now.

Tariffs + chaos + uncertainty is a pretty volatile mixture.

(And it doesn't have to be this way.)
