A lot of people like working from home, but even for people who could work remotely, some people really like being around co-workers! There are many days I could work from home, but I enjoy being in the office, in a different space, interacting live...

What do you want, the 2? I'd like the 67, maybe a 2, and maybe even a B-line?

Occasionally I get asked to be on some sort of work-life balance panel which I hate but will reluctantly drag myself to just so I can say my one and only tip: Live somewhere where you have a short, non-car commute to work. You’re welcome.

My best tip in life is if you can, move as close as possible to a grocery store you like that you can then walk to. Makes so many other aspects better too!

Walkable cities are perfect for busy people/families.

I had a 45 min break between work calls & wanted to fit in a quick walk.

My wife pointed out we still needed a grocery item for dinner.

I walked 10 mins to the co op and took the long way home.

And I got to pet a cute dog on the walk home!

Yeah he really shouldn't be DHHS Secretary. Like really. It's not good.

I often tell my students that I’ve litigated nearly all the amendments but they should call me if they have a Third Amendment case so I can collect the whole set.

It is supposed to be a joke. 🫠

I feel like we’re due for some straight faced comment from @andyfenelon.bsky.social about how it’s always so warm and sunny in Minneapolis.

I hate electronic door handles SO much. There's always a stupid delay and it's an unnecessary complication NO ONE NEEDS. Just give me a damn mechanical handle that responds immediately every single time.

Anyway, here's how to get out if they fail: www.consumerreports.org/cars/car-saf...
How to Escape Your Car If the Electronic Door Handle Fails - Consumer Reports
From Tesla to Lexus, more and more vehicles have doors with an electronic button instead of a manual latch. CR lets you know how to open them in an emergency.

Somebody actually sat down and wrote these two sentences, one after another. www.washingtonexaminer.com/wp-content/u...

Use of the term ‘hard sciences’ is… something I’ve only ever heard used by people who aren’t anywhere near in any sort of science.

Totally agree. Once you have tasted this, having to use a car to do some family thing feels like a terrible hassle.

People act like getting kids places without a car is Herculean. I biked three (one not mine) to the Kingfield Farmers Market, 95% on bikeways. No car seats, no stress, just laughs. The challenge isn’t moving kids, it’s redesigning cities to work for people instead of cars. #StreetsForPeople
View from the front of a cargo bike riding on a new two-way protected bikeway. Ahead, three children, all wearing helmets, ride bikes — one in a yellow sweatshirt, one in black, and one in a patterned dress. A pedestrian walks on the sidewalk to the left. Apartment buildings line one side of the street, and parked cars line the other. Trees and bright morning sunlight frame the neighborhood scene.

In a sane country with competent leadership, the 50 highest-ranking Democrats would call a press conference to denounce what just happened as a threat to the republic and demand Trump's immediate impeachment and removal from office.

I don't know he could make his intentions more clear.
