It's wild that the greatest defense we have against the current wave of fascism is that it's already happened before. You see this admin avoiding certain phrases and actions because it's too direct a callback to known fascist facets.

We have unfortunately reached the point where Liberals will start coming to terms with this as normal. They will continue to verbally oppose Trump but will also support the Democratic's slide to the center and wait out for the 2026 midterm
