Vaguely humanoid earth moving equipment. Fuzz doula.
Hit 10k steps without leaving the house in case you think I'm exaggerating how much back and forth between the "control room" (guest bedroom) and "live room" (living room) it takes.
Brain fried. Engineering alone and playing on the same session is fucking exhausting.

Sounds good though.
Tomorrow we're cutting the real rhythm tracks.

4 demos down. Songwriting is tough when you only have cats and your long suffering partner as sounding boards!

Bar rules apply here. You can't yourself decide that you're a regular, that's up to the staff and other patrons.
People who feel bad at being called tourists are without doubt the most tedious people on earth to get stuck next to on a plane and it isn't close to close
Tourists are an interesting group in that they consistently deny what we all know they are. I can’t think of anything that screams tourist more than reducing each experience down to charm bracelet size and wearing it around. If tourism is your thing, just embrace it!

Giddy with the possibilities, we're recording such a stripped down lineup tomorrow I have 14 channels available for drums and room mics - because if you need more than two for electric bass you're fucking up.

I'm sending this to everyone I know who's ever done masonry.

This is amazing, not a single angle lines up, and I've never seen a less straight 4x4 post.
And the wall so far

Alright, 3 workable demos down. Need a couple more, tweak some arrangements, play this shit down and be done.

The things I hear normie libs say in person in public would get me banned off the internet forever.

Someone running on retribution, or even straight up malice would pull Assad numbers.

Our young cats are obsessed with our large orange boy and he just snatched one out of the air mid jump in a sort of WWE move and is cleaning her head while she's bunny kicking him.

I need to get this on video one of these days.

"Staff writer, The Atlantic" is dart frog coloration. If you tell someone like that what they should do to themselves your account will be nuked.

As a recording engineer I'm a size queen for toms. Get that fucking 8x12" shit out of here.

That said, I picked up an 18" batter side head for the 16" floor tom that we're using for the next session, fuck my life.

- One dresser drawer for XLR cables, ranging from 10 to 50 feet.
- One dresser drawer for instrument cables, TRS, TT patch cables, and other sundry necessities
- The XLR stage boxes stay rolled up under their corresponding 19" equipment racks

I still struggle to find 9V wall warts and USB A cables.
Bluesky, how big is your box of old cables? If you know you know.

I misread this image so badly that I can only really hope to illustrate what I saw.
