Intellectual humility allows for one to develop deep skills and not let ego get in the way of one's true growth. You can spot a veteran in the trenches easily by the hesitance in their claim of expertise. Experience is often humbling in uniquely painful ways, lol.
As a result, there are far too many who call themselves experts just because they have done PCR and cloning once. I have been doing this for over 35 yrs and I don’t dare claim such thing 😉

I mean yes, there is such a concept in Christianity. It appears quite notably in the letters of Paul, for instance, where it’s a concept he *relentlessly* argues against, and in the Gospel where it’s a concept Jesus very much repeatedly scorns. So it is technically in there!
