I never send out (or accept) unsolicited friend requests.
I've reported the account and put in a support ticket, but Steam has been slow to act and pretty opaque about things.

Man, this hits hard, even in another country from her. Here in America, they are editing passports to change gender markers BACK to the birth ones. It's like... we're not even allowed to feel secure in the victories we HAVE gotten, because they can just be taken away at the stroke of a madman's pen.

This was the main reason for my crashout lol. It all felt too much, and completely beyond me. I'm getting better though. I talked to a friend and got some much needed direction. I'll continue a few more despair comics to get it out of my system.

Intentional misgenderings suck, but they at least serve as a signpost of what kind of person you're dealing with. As with everything conservatives do, the cruelty is the point.
Accidental ones from strangers are the ones that hit harder for me, since it makes me self-conscious about my appearance.

I hate to say it, but this 100% seems the most likely outcome. They caved far, FAR too suddenly and easily on this to not be scheming something.

Now that the Epstein Files are looking like they'll finally be released, my question is... What now?
Like... Unless it results in the people in the files being unilaterally removed from power (which I doubt), I have a sneaking suspicion that this will all amount to nothing...
