You should also forward the 311 request to the local councillor - @diannesaxe.bsky.social - who's on Bluesky. Had to take the lane on Bloor this past Saturday on the way to the Alex Pretti solidarity ride.

Got some mixed feelings about this one. While having Nate become the next OLP leader would give us the best chance yet at defeating Doug Ford (which I want so badly), it's also bad news for the Ontario NDP. They could end up collapsing as their federal counterparts did last April.

I know then Mayor John Tory screwed Toronto over by coercing council to approve a botched $1.5B snow clearing contract in late 2021 with very little information available for councillors to go by. Basically, two companies ended up with the bulk of the contracts.

Even though I want to ride the LRT on opening day, the bike comparison would have to wait for the spring given how brutal biking conditions are right now.

As with Finch, it would involved reduced operating hours until 11 PM, slightly reduced frequencies, and a lack of TSP which isn't expected until May now.

I heard from @diannesaxe.bsky.social that she's been regularly following up with city staff regarding the Bloor bike lanes. Sent a complaint to 311 on Saturday after the Alex Pretti ride.
