I take a lot of inspiration from vanitas paintings as well as painters like pieter bruegel the elder! these sorts of staged, immense stories within stories. an easy way to form a sense of cohesion is through color and composition. a lot of disparate parts will easily fall into line that way!

I take inspiration from a lot of different painters, photographers, illustrators, animators, both past and present. I could go on, and on about my inspirations but I think these few are ones that are (really) obvious in my work in terms of linework, color, composition even if not my "favorites."
