America invented the credit score at the same time that my dad stole my identity as a child and named me the CEO of his company when I was 5 yrs old. I had to remain homeless longer as a teenager because of the IRS debt he accrued in my name and SSN when I was in kindergarten

Writing a screenplay set in 19th century Paris frequently sends me down the post French Revolution power vacuum rabbit hole. Sometimes I think about how hard it will be to summarize the 2020s in American textbooks and what will be omitted. And then I remember Louis XIX ruled France for 20 minutes

In the decade since, insurance companies have burrowed loopholes in the ACA with things like co-opting value based healthcare, and hospitals becoming insurance providers and vice versa
