Had a great time at Planet Anime KC today! Did some pin trading, got complimented on my cosplay, bought some stuff, hung out with a buddy for a little bit (I got tired 😅)
Did not get to check out the maid cafe because it was sold out and I didn't think to buy tickets ahead of time. 😔 oops

Someone left some queer zines in our little library and through posting about them I found out that it was the zinester themselves that dropped them off!
I’ve been hyped about that for most of the day today - it’s nice that the little library seems like a spot of inclusion in our neighborhood.

Today is Indigenous People's Day, a time to celebrate indigenous communities' efforts to restore and preserve their history. In 2024, the Kaw Tribe achieve this by "rematriating" a part of its Kansas heritage, a sacred rock they had to leave behind when the tribe was forcibly relocated to Oklahoma.
