The transparency stuff is obnoxious but can be turned off. But mostly it’s just that the icons look completely stupid and amateurish.

I mostly don't buy stickers for my journals, I just use whatever stickers happen to find their way to me. So there are always "I Voted" stickers and usually some museum visitor stickers, maybe a sticker from an art event, maybe a sticker that came in a box of snacks.

That is a thing I do sometimes on my show, with the book club episodes. But it's not the main thread of the show. But it wouldn't be that hard to pivot, I suppose, from interviews to commentary or whatever.

I still want very much to talk about art. I just don't find myself with craft or process questions for artists anymore. I just want to talk about the art and what it means to me, and what it means to the person I'm talking to.

And, you know, as much as I do still long for conversation and connection, I just am not that interested in doing interviews anymore. I don't find myself having a lot of questions about the hows and whys of making art when I'm reading or watching a movie or listening to music or viewing visual art.
