He's a self-made man and he made damn sure that the result was overpowering in all aspects. ...and of course someone with teeny tiny prey-tendencies within like Sanji can't help but notice the biggest predator in the room, because maybe, just maaaybe he'd like to be caught and devoured. Maybe. 👀

Oh, surely Croc is the snobbiest snob to have ever furnished his villain lair in baroque style. You just know he puts his beri into classic extravagance. None of the kitschy nouveau rich nonsense for him, he has like... architectural designs in his head and personal styling opinions library, too.

Your colours and sparkles and glow give me LIFE. Everything is so exquisite and extravagant and the longer I stare, the more details to adore I find. The blood moon like a shared halo, the motion of fabric, Doffy's gold claws, Law holding his heart and Doffy not caring, because he's holding Law.

-this is the time for independence, so new feelings here and there, and more than just physical realizations. I did want them to have a stable childhood/youth together, that was the whole beginning point and self-indulgent inspiration, but they'll be close to 17 by the end of this chapter, so...

'n yeah, of course Rocks knows what Wani's feeling, she'd feel it, too. It's also one of those little teen moments there, the only one who had actual teen-as-we-understand-it moments was Ryu 'cause Garp deserved to be yelled at, but regardless of cultural differences-

We're currently at 5 hours 17 minutes daylight per day and that doesn't guarantee that we see the sun if it's cloudy. 'n it has been. I could sleep all days! But yeah, jetlag is very confusing to the body and mind and takes time to recover from, very different beast to tackle.

Anyway! So at least the Vassal Oath, Doffy visiting Zhoa after a year at the Sand Tribe, aaand Ryu and Wani progressing in their Learning Each Other quest to another Smut Level. 'n then whatever just randomly happens and appears between those. Once I triumph over lack of sun and relocate my focus!

It's also slow because this chapter is sort of the last bridge between their more carefree pack-unity youths and the Plot That's Waiting to Start. I feel bad for the commenter who said that the fic is their comfort-fic and I'm here all '...yeah. Surely fluff will continue forever.' 👀

Gale does smile like he's high on something, and he latches onto you like 'surely you'll somehow both save me and/or be a good rebound for a literal goddess!', and he becomes the snippiest whiniest most bitter ex if you test out the astral sex and then leave him for say, Astarion. I think Croc and his pack living in my mind make it the easiest, 'cause they're just THERE. Croc moved in first, and then gradually one by one the others drifted in. Guess he had to build the mansion first. 🐊🦩🐉🦅

Sometimes I manage to comment like a normal person, I swear! Have questions and comments about stuff that's happening, cheer at the favourite parts, all that stuff. 'n sometimes I just like... trance-write like I'm chatting with/at the characters and I can't stop myself. 😳

Also 3) I've probably already commented on the newer favourites anyway! I comment about favourite details the most and I guess I'll call it characterization, but I feel it's more like um, impromptu roleplay chatter vibing with the characters. Sometimes. Depends on the characters and the story!

Three fics had less than ten comments and I was really extra happy to comment on those! All except the mutual category were strangers (or I don't know their soc med names based on ao3 name), which makes sense since 1) I searched based on Crocodile, not based on author 2) I'm sort of a hermit.
