Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.
I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

This is especially good advice for comics IME! Dialogue is at a premium and you probably don't need about 80% of your exposition infodumping for your readers to get the picture. Especially when you have the option to show worldbuilding, foreshadowing, etc. visually.
3. you should always know more than your audience, and your audience NEEDS to know less than you think they do. you'll want to show off all the little details you considered when crafting your world, but are those details relevant to the plot or are you just infodumping?
