ROGERS: Do you see any checks on your power on the world stage?

TRUMP: Yeah. There's one thing. My own morality. My own mind. That's the only thing that can stop me.

KANNO-YOUNGS: Not international law?

TRUMP: I don't need international law. I'm not looking to hurt people.

Emily Heller, an eyewitness, is speaking out to set the record straight. Officers were screaming at Renee Nicole Good, “Move, move, move.”

So she moved, and they shot her multiple times? Then Noem and Trump branded her a domestic terrorist. Does everyone see how absolutely insane that sounds?

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.
The shooting is shocking enough but the government's response is off the charts when you consider that this incident is forensically documented on video.

This is the kind of thing that the Founders explicitly designed our constitution to prevent; a president who has seized wealth for his own benefit without any intervention from Congress, which in our system is supposed to be the holder of the power of the purse.

Reminds me of THE key to early republic chat. Lawyers like to say the law is law while colonial and rev Americans said yes and. Many elites changed to only the law in the early rep. Phillip Reid argued no "natural law" references w/out actual legal refs. & larry kramer the people themselves is good!
Afraid I must demur with two esteemed historians I respect greatly. This is the fundamental difference between historians and lawyers of all persuasions: the Declaration is not "fundamental" law. It is our "credo," but not enforceable law. Constitution is "supreme law of the land." Period. #sschat

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

The Trump admin is refusing to deny that it has the authority to summarily execute people it seems ‘domestic terrorists.’

Recall that it’s definition of ‘domestic terrorist’ includes those who advocate for open borders/vs. ICE deportations, anti-capitalists, critics of America, and non-transphobes.
