we oppose violence against women, except against that sort of woman, oh and the women must conform to my limited view of what women are, otherwise they are fair game for violence because it is to protect them

lol, love how we were all told that the reason yorp couldn't have a position on trans rights because it would be voted on in the conference, which bad enough in itself. but now, it wasn't even on the agenda because of the party itself.

this thing is such a shit show beyond what even i was expecting
November 30, 2025 at 12:58 PM
Nah, i am a brit, even given the context she is talking about yorp, i still cannot see what she was vague posting about if not that marginalised people should just accept having our rights dropped by political parties.
November 30, 2025 at 12:36 PM
I mean, the way they set this party up, establishing no real founding principles and explicitly leaving decisions on what they stand for down to membership voge at conference, they seem to have intentionally designed themselves for it.

The party where everything is made up and the votes don't matter

Sometimes there are only two busses, and they both head deeper into tve desert.
November 30, 2025 at 12:01 PM
Like, i am a brit, the original vague post could easily be about why it is okay to drop trans rights. The context that she was subtweeting yorp still doesn't rule that out given what hapoened at their conference.

She is entirely complaining about her inability to communicate here.

To the person who replied to this and then immediately blocked me... learn how blocking works on bluesky.
November 30, 2025 at 11:48 AM
Huh, it is almost like her original post has exactly 0 context cues for what she is actually complaining about, and its wording mirrors exactly what people have been told in response to opposing genocide and asking for trans people to have rights.
November 30, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Which like... imoressively vague post because even knowing she's talking about yorp, i still don't know what she's supposed to be complaining about if not marginalised folks being upset sidelined yet again.
November 30, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Lol, she's now complaining that people did not understand exactly what her vague post was talking about...

Psa: if you subtweet Your Party you will wake up to a lot of Americans shouting at you because they think you meant you hate trans people.
There is an extraordinary sense of entitlement behind the belief that there ought to be political party that aligns 100% with your own opinions.
November 30, 2025 at 11:40 AM
Nah, i'm a brit and this still read to me like she hates trans people. Because this sort of shit is what trans people hear all the fucking time when people are justifying their chosen party dropping rights for marginalised groups

Trying to claim cis is a slur is in fact cis folks trying to exert their systemic power over trans people, because it becomes a lot harder to talk about systemic oppression if you cannot even give name to the form it takes.
November 30, 2025 at 11:07 AM
Cis isn't a derogatory term.
And for a slur to meaningfully be a slur the group using it must have some form of systemic power over the group being slurred. Trans people do not have systemic power over cis people.
November 30, 2025 at 11:06 AM
eat shit. your party is a disaster, and they will remain a disaster. just retire, you are not the man for the current times
November 29, 2025 at 6:20 PM
honestly surprised they kept it together long enough to have the conference
November 29, 2025 at 5:43 PM
not the point i was making, it is still true that more people didn't vote reform than did, which means the majority of people are reaping what other people sowed. and you are a massive douche nozzle

It's almost like the autism satire site that finds humour in common autistic traits and experiences might be using traits and experiences that apply to a lot of autistic folks without being about a specific person...
