Quite probably, though i also noticed that people who use bad arguments would always throw out logical fallacies they didn't understand thinking they were some magic 'i win' button after it was used against them well before ai became a thing.

Feels like its a double attempt to separate from the underage fantast, while still indulging in it, with the "it's okay because he's really an adult who just looks like the sort of underage boy the author wants to fuck" and it being rape so that the protagonist isn't taking agency in fucking a child
