Was having a chat with an ancient friend about our old Sonicsonas so I thought to draw them together :) In his character description Sammy would hang out with Sonic and Tails at the mall! I would be WAY too shy to do that ;_; I admired Sonic way too much..

Alliteration is overrated, it often feels forced and unsatisfying. Assonance, on the other hand, usually rules. An example of this: "Merry Melodies" and "Silly Symphonies" both sound contrived. Meanwhile, "Looney Tunes" works so well that it went on to become an idiom.

I think one of the worst quirks of online spaces is the idea that if someone doesn't post about something, they don't care about it. It encourages performative posting often makes things worse.

I used to think house finches and song sparrows looked indistinguishable. Now I can tell them apart at a quick glance. This is the only form of personal growth anyone can reasonably expect from me at this point in my life.
