Did you notice that the cards have a cost to play them? How do we get that? Easy: burning other cards! Burned cards are lost for the whole scenario, so it's up to you to decide which cards are played... and which are burned.

A more strategic approach! When you play a card, it's not played automatically, but is put on an action bar that you can rearrange each turn to optimize what your character will do!
