I just found out last night that the $50k enrollment bonus only pays out after 5 years of service, and reader, the laugh I let out when I read that woke the dog from across the house. These absolute fucking grapes aren't seeing a dime of that money. No way they can ride out 5 years of this job.

The police chief in Virginia responded and told him that actually, no, the people requesting records about surveillance and showing up to city council meetings are concerned citizens: "ln short, it is democracy in action." The city called CEO's email "unprompted" and canceled its contract days later

This is happening because Flock's data export system has relied on each and every one of its police customers to properly redact files. If even ONE of those customers messes up the redactions, they end up revealing targets for entire networks. This has inevitably happened multiple times now
