What a beautiful experience tonight. I could see them though paler with the naked eye. #northernlights #auroraborealis

A second #haiku for #haikusaturday. I've been absent a bit, but still writing. Hello my haiku friends!

Good morning! Happy #haikusaturday Today I share a #senyru. The photo is not of Caseiopia. It was actually taken by me a couple years ago in the Galapagos Islands.

This is a close-up of a sketchbook piece to go with a haiku.

A very good reason to prioritize it. I have found that time in nature is my well. I just drove 1.74 hours to go to a beach.

We have a a couple female hummingbirds coming to our feeders. This morning one arrived just as I was changing out her food. She didn't back off and paused inches from the feeder in my hand.

Good morning #haikusaturday Saturday friends. My long line felt so didactic and unnecessary so I left it out. #micropoetry #senyru

Dinner on the deck with treats from the garden, a nice breeze, cicadas and goldfinch for background music, and a Bald Eagle flyover.

That's wonderful. I had this little guy and wanted it to be a juvenile praying mantis so bad. It is not, but it's a true bug.

As for something I do. I love to watch the wildlife in my yard. It's all fodder for poetry, comics, and art. My very own nature channel.

Good morning!. I love the scent of the milkweed flowers. Mine have tons of milkweed beetles this year. They are my favorite beetle.

Oh, and thanks for making me go out to my garden to look for one to photograph. So much better than just remembering.

Happy #haikusaturday! I must admit I have been a bit unsettled and not living in the moment more than I am living in the moment recently.

I find the summer Solstice to be a bit sad. Yes, in the Northern Hemisphere it's the longest day, but that also means that starting now,our days grow shorter.

I love to take your haiku and use the ideas to write from my experience. It feels like we are stitching the earth together in a haiku quilt.
