Very sweet. Scurrying mice feel like a tickle.

Thank you. I have so enjoyed my walks through these woods. Each day I think of the ephemeral beauty and give thanks for another forest bath.

Also, with Aphantasia, creating the world from the written word is a very different thing. Without images in my mind's eye, I find great pleasure in watching how a creative team interpret the written word.

Am I interpreting your meaning of page and screen incorrectly?

I have thought about this recently. I certainly think we can numb out while watching a show or movie, but I think we can also be engaged creatively in different ways.

One could say the creative act only comes from being the writer and/or artist.

I think there are many variations of creativity.

You are so kind. That rock has caught my eye several days in a row. We don't have Tortoises here, but we do have turtles in the river.

A very good reason to prioritize it. I have found that time in nature is my well. I just drove 1.74 hours to go to a beach.

I have come to realize that we have to make choices on where our priorities go. And sometimes, even things that we love take a back burner for a while. I tend to read more in the winter and I'm learning to be content with that.

Follow your rhythm. No guilt of shame.

I have been struggling with this, too. Bedtime reading used to work for me, but these days, it doesn't matter how good the book is, I fall asleep too quickly. In the mornings, I only get a little time for me and I want to journal, to spend a little time meditating and planning my day.

I'm shocked. Not one reference to "It's 5 o'clock somewhere." That's cocktail hour, thus evening. I beleive that's what Jimmy Buffet would have said.
