Zero-claim enrollees would be risk-pool-improving and premium-reducing.

Reasonable people can debate whether/to what extent the increase in zero-claim enrollees might reflect increased broker-driven fraudulent enrollment, but not whether that enrollment increases (individual) premiums.

In an Aspen Institute interview Dr. Oz is asked what CMS can do around ACA subsidies if Congress actss on the issue after shopping period begins, Oz suggests there's stuff they can do retroactively but the people who would help him think this through are generally not working now due to shutdown.

CDC has finally adopted the recommendations its vaccine panel made Sept. 19. This should increase access to Covid vaccines somewhat — CVS and Walgreens had said once the recs were official, they'd offer the shots w/o Rx nationwide, and Vaccines for Children program also needed the official approval

I spoke to a Venezuelan woman who was arrested in this raid and later released with her 4yo son. She said agents broke down their door, pointed guns at them and made sexualized remarks about Venezuelan women. When she returned to her apartment it was boarded up and all her possessions were gone.
