Felix and I are on the couch watching S9 E6 of Queer Eye (a total tearjerker) and when the single mom they’re helping is just weeping with joy Felix says “If Jesus existed, he’d be all five of [the cast] put together, huh mom?” Anyways…

I just blew a tire a block away from picking up some hand crocheted tablecloths. They invited me inside to wait for the tow truck, and that’s how I also ended up also taking home two hand stitched quilts and two more trash bags of linens, and making friends with a handsome Russian Blue named George.

I’m sick, and whenever I get sick my nervous system reminds me what it was like to be sick every day. I’m lucky; there were enough identifiable/treatable components to my illness that I’m now (mostly) functional. A lot of sick people never get to where I am. I’ve been thinking about this a lot.

I just finished out the semester with a 91 in math and a 96 in psych. That’s my highest math grade of all time! I don’t know how in the heck!

Last week I got us a tree that was just chilling on the side of the road with a “FREE” sign on it. A couple days later I came upon two boxes of outdoor lights with another “FREE” sign! My kids always beg me for lights outside but we didn’t own any. Now we do!
