I don't label myself or my outlook on life here, especially as my views and priorities may change over time. However, a longstanding tenet of mine is "Do as you would be done by", which works for me.
Take me as you find me.
I wondered where Kathryn Murphy had got to. I found it hard to believe that she had had any part in nonsense that has been emanating from that office lately.

So it seems, or the state of our society is now such that some poor security person is so scared of making a mistake and having a complaint made against him that he's drawn the conclusion that anything to do with Palestine has to be censored.

My point was that there was a response, which shows that something struck home. This is not over yet, by a long way.

It had the effect of making some people worried enough to try to silence protest. Also, the hundreds of thousands of people marching in Sydney & elsewhere have witnessed what happens at those marches & know FOR A FACT that the story that they were/are antisemitic is a complete lie. That's important.

Yet never does the media call her out for that obvious antisemitism

Conflating all Jews to being zionist is in itself massively antisemitic. It's like saying all Christians are nazis because the nazis claimed to be Christians

We all know antisemitism exists. As does disproportionately excessive and dangerous Islamophobia. But fear mongering on hate and simultaneously dog whistling on other non WHITE minorities seems to be all MSM and LNP has as political fill at present.

2/2 ICYMI, the deeply unimpressive AG failed to answer this key question four times:
"Would a group be banned if it accused Israel of genocide or apartheid, and as a result, Jewish Australians feel intimidated?"

She doesn't understand her own legislation. #auspol

Antisemitism, as all other forms of racism, exists, is vile & needs to be fought.

However, commentary from some spokespeople & the MSM seems calculated to exaggerate & amplify its extent across the community, while screaming about "FEAR!".

THEY are feeding, & encouraging, that fear.

Exactly. Some people are claiming (&, because no challenge by interviewers, given) the right to falsely redefine, & accordingly misquote, the words of other people without acknowledgement that that's been done.
It instils fear and hate.
It's appalling - dishonest, defamatory & dangerous.

Indeed.

I'm at the point where, if use of "G" & "Z" words causes us to be dragged into semantic distraction I'll avoid them & go to the nub of the issue:
Behaviour that Enacts, Enables, Endorses &/or Excuses Violent Ethno-supremacy (or "Ethnic cleansing").
I don't care what we call it - it's wrong.
