I also got some fab "office party" Christmas-themed ones the last time I was back in the UK, and somewhere in a box, I've also got Little Miss Shy Goes Online Dating. It is hilarious! 🤩❤️😂

Oh, so the Hargreaves franchise of Mr Men and Little Miss book characters have now turned them into two of Agatha Christie's most famous book characters, Poirot and Miss Marple, all so quintessentially English. I guess you have to be a Mr Men/Little Miss fan to understand how fabulous that is. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mr Men and Little Miss books are very popular children's (and also adults) books, by the author Roger Hargreaves, in the UK. There's a whole series and each Mr or Little Miss is characterised by his/her name. Everyone has their favourite Mr Men/Little Miss character. 😊

Last week @eejit.bsky.social spotted tulips while he was out doing the grocery shopping, and decided to surprise me, as I've not been having the best of times lately.

They're my most favourite flower, above even roses, and I adore the way they continue growing, despite being cut.

Eight months since Haggis came into our lives, and each month she creeps further and further into our hearts... 😻💕

She definitely enjoys being around people, and will follow you if you disappear from sight for too long. She also loves snoozing where it's warm (windowsill above a radiator, etc.).

This year's Hochheimer Haul!

All of those fabulous cheeses for 15€! 😋🧀🇩🇪❤️🇫🇷💛🇬🇷

Then two different spices - buntes Pfeffer and Gewürze für Fleisch- just a little something to give ooomph to a meat dish - 8.50€ for 200g.

And lastly, a pair of fingerless gloves I didn't know I needed, for a tenner!

The fingerless gloves match a scarf I was wearing today, which I'd worn to compliment a mustard-coloured fine-knit jumper. I'd forgotten to take gloves out of the cupboard before I left this morning, so they both complimented my clothing, and kept my hands warm as it got colder in the afternoon!

It's the annual pre-Christmas gathering of friends at Hochheimermarkt today... a bit of drinking, eating, and exploring what the market has to offer (usually the same as last year), and more drinking!

I'm starting slow with a nonalcoholic hot wine - can't be staggering around until much later! 😆😂

This book is breaking my heart...

I sincerely hope that all of the ghouls and monsters, regardless of their status in society, are brought to justice - this poor girl (because that's what she was when all this took place) deserve justice, as do ALL of Epstein and Maxwell's abused.

It changes the more people get tested, and it helps them define your genetics even better. When I had my first test done in 2016, it came back saying I had >1% Polynesian DNA. 😂😂 This year's update is far more closer to what I know my family history to be. (I'm Norwegian with a Danish mother.)
