Writer, reader, wife, mom. You're good enough, you deserve good things.
Ok, writers. I've realized that I'm stuck because I keep trying to deny that I like writing about damsels in distress who get saved by a big strong man. I like that kind of story, ok, Me?!

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

1/ A 🧵 to explain his plan and how we fight back.

Current nonfiction read: Buy What You Love Without Going Broke, by Jen Smith and Jill Sirianni. 💡📚💙

I like the focus on priorities over traditional budgeting advice.

My current fiction read: The Martyr, by Anthony Ryan. A nice, juicy fantasy with political intrigue and sword fights. It's the 2nd in a series, luckily my library had both. 😃 #booksky

I've finally decided that the only place I really want to exist online is in bookish spaces. It's just nicer here. :) So I guess I'm going to start posting bookish content soon. Yay! #booksky

Went for a nice walk with the fam earlier to the local ranch market so we could all pick out our favorite snacks and then settled in for an evening of our favorite activities: video games and reading.

Would not trade this family of nerds for any other lifestyle. 😍

Still having trouble getting my Bluesky app to work. Anyone else have experience with this? My keyboard keeps popping up and then closing again before I can type in my password. I've re-installed the app at least 3 times already and it's not fixing it. 😥

I would just like to say that I have hit my 1 year Spanish streak in Duolingo today. Huzzah!

It's overcast here today, and I pulled The Sun from my tarot deck this morning. Which then made me think, the sun may not always be shining, but you always know it's there. Taking that as my mantra today. #tarot

My small act of resistance today was leading my girl scout troop through a meeting to learn about mental health and wellness. They're all such great girls, it gave my heart a little joy.

This weekend I hope to spend time writing, reading, and clearing out at least one closet in my house. It's the last day of the month already? Yeesh. What a year it's been.

Friendly reminder that anxiety lies to you. Depression lies to you. ❤️ You're a good person, girlie-pop. For real.

If you're worried about being good enough, I can promise you that you are better at whatever the thing is than you think you are, and that you will improve faster than you think you can. People who are actually imposters don't worry about potentially being imposters. ;) You got this.

It's a new moon tonight, in, Aquarius? I'm no astrologer, but new moons tend to get me down instead of fill me up. I like a full moon, better. Feels fuller, prettier, full of promise and shining magic.

Monday is here again. You can do it, I believe in you. Just because Garfield hates Mondays doesn't mean you have to. And if it's a hard day, take Garfield's advice again and eat a pan of lasagna. Problem solved. ;)

If I was rich I would buy banned books for full retail price at local bookshops and place them in little free libraries.
