Regarding the April 2025 interview, that was 8 months ago! Things change, new information becomes available, people form opinions. I would hope 8 months is long enough to come to the conclusion that tools aren't useful and you should stop. Especially they're worried about "agility" and "keeping up".

People wonder why a lot of games use dialogue to just spell out the plot or character motivations — this is often why. Because you’ve cut off the writer’s ability to use action, setups and layoffs, visuals, etc if you lay out a whole level and THEN bring them in
