Critics of renewable energy often claim that these technologies are making the world’s electricity grids more vulnerable to power outages.

Hard data suggests otherwise.

Fact check: Do renewables really make electricity grids less reliable?
In Germany, power availability to homes and businesses has increased over the years – even as the share of renewables has climbed.

Daily Inhalation of Lung-Penetrating Microplastics in Homes and Cars Estimated at 68,000 Particles—A Staggering 100 Times Earlier Estimates
In a groundbreaking study published in the open-access journal PLOS One, researchers from the Université de Toulouse, France, presented alarming findings concerning human exposure to microplastic particles in indoor air. The research, led by Nadiia Yakovenko and her colleagues, significantly expands the existing knowledge on airborne microplastics, suggesting that people may be inhaling far higher quantities of small, lung-penetrating particles than previously suspected.
