The Arhaus furniture store used to be on Walnut before it moved to Highland, and I was walking home from the bar once and saw a rat so big I first thought it was a cat run across a couch in the front window. You saw what you saw.

KHive remains undefeated for coming up with the most nonsensical bullshit constructed in the most repulsive fake academia millennial voice so you have the added benefit of your skin crawling while you read it.

Days like today are always useful for flushing out who thinks we're all bad faith dumb asses.

Disney/ABC fired Nate Silver in 2023 when they shut down 538, he is an idiot but he works for himself.

I gave up trying to rein my husband in when he started sending me links to different specialty burrs for his already fancy grinder he wanted my opinion on. This is your journey babe, go with my blessing but please don't make me do research.

Some of us (like myself this week) have to fly for work, we're not stupid but it's not optional, so yes this is deeply, deeply unhelpful and falls in the general internet bucket of "don't give advice no one asked you for."

They don't need it on the field, but that's where your power comes from when you swing unless you're top heavy. That's why all the homer hitters are either double-cheeked up or just absolute units.

Not disagreeing but it's definitely a town with a growing tourism industry and a mall and a hospital and a walkable downtown, the homes are not any further away from their neighbor than my city house, and a decent one will cost you $200k. It's not "rural" like this dude's living situation.
