THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
So, hey, um…Zack, Tom, Brad, and Tim…we could really use your help in raging against the current machine of the day. You know, a little new “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” type energy would be nice. Think about it, k?

This post by Rufo is the greatest example of a complete lack of self-awareness. He bemoans the right following conspiracy theories and says people should follow empirical evidence. That’s rich coming from the guy who completely made up the “critical race theory” panic. Hey Chris, reap what you sow.
The Great Replacement conspiracy theory has become the central organizing principle of the new right. Without it they have almost nothing to say.
*Chris Rufo* warns X is making the right too conspiratorial:

"Americans can stick to...empirical reality or...follow conspiracy theories... For the Right, the danger is that an increasingly large fraction of our political coalition is choosing the second path"

Oh no. What will we do if Bill Clinton is implicated? Oh, that’s right, we will be happy a sex abuser got caught because we are not in a cult.
President Trump said that he is asking the Justice Department to launch investigations of Jeffrey Epstein’s ties with former president Bill Clinton and several other prominent people, suggesting those interactions deserve more scrutiny than his own.

Pete ought to be careful about accusing people of fake religious affiliation and taking government action based on those accusations. It sets a terrible precedent that folks who support him may ultimately be a victim of. Questioning sincerely held religious beliefs is not legally supported.
Hegseth: "We don't need to be a military of beardos anymore. Do you know how many troops claim to be Nordic Pagan? No, suddenly it's become this real fake religious affiliation inside the Pentagon where troops came to be Nordic Pagan so they can grow a beard and nobody challenges them on it."

So the Epstein vote isn't the only reason Mike Johnson should fear Rep. Yassamin Ansari. More of this, please.

Cool, beautifully designed to be easier to drop.
Analysis: Americans badly want better battery life from their smartphones.

But Apple’s new iPhone they introduced today, the iPhone Air, has a slim and lightweight design that only leaves room for a battery with less juice.
Analysis | We want better battery life in phones. Apple's iPhone Air did the opposite.
The iPhone Air probably has worse battery life than its predecessors. But other companies are using new battery technology to pack in more juice.

While it’s true this is what the Supreme Court ruled in 1989, we know that the current justices don’t give a fuck about precedent.

Confidence is declining because of the tidal wave of bullshit that is spread about public schools. It’s impossible to respond to constant claims of grooming, secret abortions, secret sex changes, etc. Social media - and the Trump admin - are intentionally trying to dismantle our greatest resource.
Confidence in public schools is continuing to decline.

But a new poll shows that many Americans are more likely to give a high grade to their local schools than to the nation’s education system as a whole.
What Americans Really Think of Public Schools

Another example of completely unqualified people being treated as experts. It feels like essential oils influencers won and are taking over everything.
Don't put in the newspaper that she is a history buff.

The review of the Smithsonian museums for "improper ideology" is being led by a 35-year old lawyer who has no experience or credentials in history or museum studies.

But one supporter says she is an avid "fan of history."🗃️
She told Trump the Smithsonian needs changing. He’s ordered her to do it.
Who is Lindsey Halligan, the attorney assigned to help remove “improper ideology” from Washington’s most important cultural institution?

School boards are supposed to be non-partisan. School board meeting should be non-partisan. The kids the adults are supposed to be educating and raising are watching, and, sadly learning from their example. The behaviors kids see at board meetings carry over into the classroom.
While most school board meetings across the nation remain civil, there's been a rise in heated exchanges for some districts.

A new study aims to explain why.
Are School Board Meetings Really Getting More Heated? What a New Study Says
Researchers analyzed video of 100,000 school board meetings to track conflict in education politics.
