Flowers starting to open. Compared to some other clones of the species that I have grown or seen, this plant has larger bracts which partially hide the flowers.

Color and morphology clearly indicates pollination by hummingbirds. 🌴 🌱 #orchids

F has been tricky with very unusual species! To keep the alphabet and joy here is Cymbidium Fliquet from our new National Collection of Cymbidiums. Registered in 1990 you can see the strong influence of sanderae. 🌿
