Considering the city's feelings on current events, I should not have been surprised to see the room was 90% full for a 6p Monday showing of One Battle After Another. Primo work from everyone in front of and behind the camera. Could not recommend it any higher.

Multiple OBA golds for Bayside and Bayside variants would indicate this is the pinnacle of IPAs offered up in Portland over the last two years. Which . . . doesn't feel correct? Palates are palates, but it's strange to be completely outside the groupthink on this one.

Leapt out of bed this morning thinking I was late as hell after a rough night of sleep and promptly triggered a vagal nerve reaction. Killed my chances of getting to the half marathon start line on time, let alone running one today. First DNS of my life. Bummed doesn't come close to describing it.

Ohhhhh this one hurts. Found them for the first time at the PSU Saturday Market in '09 and didn't realize I bought a bottle of Four from THE Alex until later in life. Completely unique and it will be a loss for the area when it's gone.
