This isn’t a good idea even if the plane was being donated to the U.S. government. But Trump GETS TO KEEP THE PLANE??? It’s simply a cash payment to Trump in exchange for favors. Just wildly illegal.

“You never know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” Miss the days where American presidents were leaders of the free world. As Trump & GOP pivot from democracy and goodwill, Europe hasn’t forgotten. Listen to Danish PM remind the world Zelensky and Ukrainians are heroes as well as Russia’s threat.

Musk just gave the game away in his interview with Joe Rogan.

He said that it's because of Social Security that "people are living longer than expected"—which coupled with a lower U.S. birth rate creates a situation he finds intolerable.

He _is_ a Yarvinist—and he's coming for our Social Security.

Excellent piece. But not enough attention to impact on Medicare enrollment which is through Social Security.

This will be a very hard fight, but it's worth it, because people matter.

We owe it to our family members who rely on Medicaid and SNAP. We owe it to our friends. We owe it to our neighbors. We owe it to the people we'll never meet.

In a reckless move that could put countless Americans at risk, CDC cuts are expected to devastate the Epidemic Intelligence Service, a ‘crown jewel’ of public health EIS officers tasked with investigating disease outbreaks and health threats in the U.S. and abroad.

My latest.

As journalists and writers, we have a duty to use language that is accurate and describes our current reality.

I’m no longer going to talk about DEI/Anti-DEI.

Let’s be clear. We are facing racial purges and re-segregation.

The intense blowback against freezing #Medicaid funding for states earlier this week likely led to Trump’s new claim (whether he means it or not) that he will now protect Medicaid. It shows that public pushback works. Now sustained opposition is needed to block looming Medicaid budget cuts in House.

I was also one of the only candidates to raise voter suppression—a huge issue across the country, particularly the South.

In Wisconsin, we’ve tackled voter suppression through a year-round voter protection operation and a focus on judicial races as well as legislative and executive offices.
